On our first night in Namibia we stayed at the lovely Olive Grove Guesthouse in Windhoek. Our room was simply super!

Glass, metal and linen



combined with simple lighting,



and concrete basins and bath,



were the perfect combination for a relaxed stay



and a good night's sleep!

Namibia's roads were surprisingly diverse, and although there were fairly long stretches of straight roads and not a lot of traffic, driving did require focusing. Sometimes the road would seem like a mirage, or suddenly end,  twist and turn,  be dusty, sandy, or rocky , but it was never boring.  And you weren't the only ones on it !!
