Namibia's roads were surprisingly diverse, and although there were fairly long stretches of straight roads and not a lot of traffic, driving did require focusing.

Sometimes the road would seem like a mirage,

or suddenly end,

 twist and turn,

 be dusty,

sandy,

or rocky,

but it was never boring.

 And you weren't the only ones on it
