We went on a mokoro ride on the Okavango Delta. It was an excellent way to quietly enjoy the amazing scenery.
The papyrus swamps were incredibly beautiful.
I almost forgot to try to spot the rare birds as I was so mesmerized by the papyrus!

Namibia's roads were surprisingly diverse, and although there were fairly long stretches of straight roads and not a lot of traffic, driving did require focusing. Sometimes the road would seem like a mirage, or suddenly end, twist and turn, be dusty, sandy, or rocky , but it was never boring. And you weren't the only ones on it !!
The Namibian climate is quite harsh, and it can be quite challenging just to survive. There are abandoned train loaders, abandoned towns, and abandonded houses. Not all survive, but many do, as long as water is made available, and you have the cojones!
